Training division
Training plays an important strategic role in the environmental sector, which is undergoing constant and rapid evolution. Companies therefore need to be kept constantly abreast of both legislation and the most innovative solutions for reducing environmental impact. The training services offered by SETAM are based on personalised corporate training interventions combined with aspects of business consultation, during which concrete and targeted objectives are pursued. The time dedicated to the culture of environmental protection is never time wasted, but rather an important investment in terms of sustainability and human resources. Ensuring the capacity and competence of staff is a crucial factor for companies, but this will not suffice if it is not complemented by a continual training system that enables staff to refresh and improve their skills to remedy any company weaknesses or meet any company need.
Characterisation and teaching
In keeping with the planning and management capacities of SETAM, course design and curriculum adopt a very practical approach. The teachers are always close to businesses as they themselves are technicians who work to resolve concrete business issues.
Personalised corporate training
Environmental regulations are constantly evolving and companies are forced to address ever more numerous and complex aspects and obligations. To help clients find their way through the bureaucratic maze, SETAM designs and runs personalised courses on specific environmental topics (ex: waste management, sanctions, purification system management) or on topics expressly requested by companies. Courses may be held either at the company or on SETAM’s premises.
Multi-company courses
Constantly changing legislation may bring about substantial changes in the management of specific environmental aspects or the need to provide a framework and manage new aspects and/or topics of interest to several companies. To introduce such changes or new environmental aspects, SETAM organises training courses that the different clients can attend together. These courses are held in specially equipped areas on SETAM’s own premises.
